@kylelily123abc4 Mechanically it's still the same. Although 3D allows for gameplay gimmicks that weren't possible before. I also did it to unify the game's style and it's much more sound on a technical level (better performance, etc.)

@Prox2276 this seems like a big change from what was in the combat before, mentioned already that the top down view will be available, is there any reason you pushed for the combat being updated like this? really interested to see where it goes from here!

@CrimeArc I experimented with funky backgrounds like that for the new battle system as well and I did prefer them. I just didn't manage to make original ones in time for the teaser. Thanks for the reminder! If you have more thoughts to share I'd love to hear them in DMs. :)

@Prox2276 I just really like the funky backgrounds from the top-down look, though I'd also reckon you have plans for the 3D backgrounds as well
