Caufield is not, doesn’t get ice time then, and no empties. If he was better defensively, he’d have those extra goals you mentioned. But he isn’t so he doesn’t

SVG and ZSmith both intend to be FT for Trackhouse in 2025, Suarez must outperform one of them. He must.

@RobergMartin41 Just because you can win in the lower ranks doesn’t mean it will always translate to cup either. Some people don’t and likely won’t do great there and that’s fine. The equipment isn’t great there but let’s not act like the drivers are doing the most with it.

@LostCrashes Buying all of Spire, charters included, would be very expensive. Then he’d have to find sponsors for LaJoie and Berry to be able to run them competitive equipment in Cup. I’d say this isn’t a very likely option.

My Kool aid conspiracy theory: Dale Jr is looking to BUY Spire Motorsports in its entirety, Corey Lajoie and Josh Berry would be his drivers. Jr finally gets his long awaited chance to own a cup team and Josh Berry gets the top tier ride he deserves.

The deserving winner won the race. I loved the new package compared to 2022. I loved the no stage breaks. I love this track. Let's not forget the great racing we saw all because of a few messy restarts.
