“We're going to work together to establish state police on a national scale, and I believe once we have state police, enforcement of law and order will take care of some of these problems. You have been appointed as a committee for peace. Go and search for it, look for it, and resolve it. Any additional steps that you want the government to take, if identified, and you know the names of troublemakers who want to continue killing or instigate killing, we'll use the instruments of office to deal with them.” — Bola Tinubu
@ChuksEricE bro these people are so crazy, what’s that nonchalant attitude i’m cracking up. the way he even held the money together like oshodi conductor. it’s getting ridiculous now.
Big moment for Lagos and the APC.
Congratulations to Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat on emerging as our party’s Consensus Governorship Candidate. Your years of loyalty, consistency, and service have rightfully earned this mandate.
I remain committed to support the re-election of our Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
This is a call to stay united, disciplined, and focused on our collective progress. Our commitment to the party remains unwavering, fully aligned with the leadership and vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Now, the focus is simple: to secure victory and advance a more prosperous Lagos and Nigeria.
30th April 2026.
I address you today with a deep sense of responsibility and clarity of purpose regarding the future of our party and our dear state, Lagos.
A few days ago, I took a decisive step in line with my aspiration to serve by procuring the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2027 Lagos State gubernatorial election under the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). That step was driven by conviction, consultation, and a genuine desire to contribute to the progress of our state.
However, leadership also demands the capacity to make difficult but necessary decisions that prioritize collective interest above personal ambition.
Following the endorsement of Dr. Kadiri Hamzat by our Leader, the President of Nigeria, and Leaders of our party in Lagos, and in recognition of the prevailing realities within the political landscape of our great party, I have decided to withdraw from the 2027 Lagos State gubernatorial race.
This decision is not borne out of weakness or a lack of capacity, but out of strength, discipline, and a deep respect for party cohesion and unity.
Let me be unequivocal: I remain a loyal and committed member of the APC. I also reaffirm my unalloyed loyalty and respect for the President and national leader of our party, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. His leadership remains central to the stability and progress of our party and the nation at large.
In line with this, I hereby fully align myself with the position and direction of Mr. President regarding the Lagos State gubernatorial process. Party supremacy and strategic alignment are critical to sustaining the gains we have collectively built over the years.
To the Lagos4Lagos Movement, I extend my profound gratitude. This movement has never been about one individual; it has always been about a cause, equity, inclusion, and a better Lagos for all.
That cause remains alive, and it must now find expression in our collective support for the party’s chosen direction.
I urge all our supporters, leaders, and stakeholders to remain calm, focused, and committed. This is a moment to consolidate, not to divide; to build, not to fracture.
Politics is a continuum. Today’s decision is part of a larger journey of service, and I remain fully committed to contributing meaningfully to the growth of our party and the development of Lagos State.
To the media, I thank you for your professionalism and continued engagement.
To our supporters across the state, your loyalty and belief have been humbling. I do not take it for granted.
Together, we will continue to work for the progress of Lagos and the success of our great party.
Thank you.
God bless the Lagos4Lagos Movement.
God bless the All Progressives Congress.
And God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR
Do you know how many Non-Lagosian especially from the Eastern Part of the country that served and still serving in National and state Assemblies? Do you know how many Non-Lagosian that served in LG and LDCA ? Do you know many served and still serving in government and civil service. Don’t be blind by your myopic ignorance.
James Faleke from Kogi state Represents Lagos Ikeja at the HOR since 2011. But Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour from Lagos Island Gangan Cannot Run for Governor of Lagos? 🙄
The Fools Telling you GO BACK TO ANAMBRA are being ruled by a Man from Kogi
APC Go Wine you but No Panic 😂
What will you do?
You install CCTV in your compound in Lagos. Nothing inside anyone’s apartment… just the open space.
Tenants gather like it’s a town hall meeting.
“Sir, this is invasion of privacy!”
“We don’t like it!”
“This is too much!”
I said okay… but the camera stayed 😌
Months later… 2am visitors show up.
Not relatives. Not friends. Professionals.
Generator gone.
Car mirrors gone.
Even the street cars didn’t escape.
Next morning, my phone rings.
“Sir… good morning sir… please… that your camera…” 😭
Same people.
Now they need evidence.
The same camera that was “invading privacy” has suddenly become “our only hope.”
Life is funny like that.
Sometimes what people resist is what protects them. Until reality explains it better than you ever could.
So tell me… if it was you… will you release the footage immediately…or first remind them of the “privacy meeting”? 😂
My landlord just served me a letter. It's my first time going to court.
Where does he expect me to go, under a bridge? 😭😭
Please, if you have an empty garage that can accommodate me, kindly help out.
@Psalmuel_@john322226 Since we’ve been playing “good football”, where did it get us to? Is this so called “nonsense football” is what will win us titles, Mr it’s all good
I think you guys are lack emotional maturity. Gbadebo contested every election circle for the last 4 elections . People aren’t voting for him enough to win . Faleke a resident of ikeja for as long as you can imagine and the people of his constituency love him and voted and still voting for him . Moral of the story: if you have a worthy personality and integrity that fits your people’s need, they’re employ you to serve and represent them. Gbadebo lack all that
@Psalmuel_@john322226 You want Arsenal to play entertaining football and ATM isn’t doing the same. So, Arsenal should play against itself so you can be entrained? SMH
