That's a shame, man. Silovs deserved better. The Penguins had so many opportunities to end this. 1-0 is the final with the minutes fading away in OT. The Flyers win the series, 4-2, and the #LetsGoPens are eliminated in the first round. Heartbreaking loss.

Scoreless through one. Pretty dead even period. I thought Philly had the better of the looks but the Penguins had the better of the possession.

@penguins I’m incredibly proud of the year we had but I think it actually hurt our rebuilding efforts having a good team this year. It’s showing in the playoffs and now we will pick in the early 20’s. Oh well I guess thanks for a great year but there’s maybe 10 players that need to be gone

I think most Arizona fans will be super upset for a day or two and then realize how fun and great this season was. If not, that's a them problem.

@jasonscheer Why does this tournament define your whole season. We have had a magical year.

I know some national people said trading Waddle & signing Willis seemed contradictory/incongruous, but I don't see it that way because their plan seems simple enough and rationale: 1) If you see a QB that you think can be really good (as they do with Willis) and get him signed for 3 years at good value, get him in the building ASAP! That's sensible. 2). Collect as many draft picks as you can but hold onto incumbent young building blocks that you identified as building blocks and view as building blocks unless a team absolutely blows you out of the water with a trade offer. 3) Be very selective when you splurge with big $$ in free agency. This team will be built primarily through drafting and retaining productive draft picks. 4) Clear up the enormous cap problems. 5). Don't go into this season trying to lose to land a top QB. They want to field a representative product (it's fair to season-ticket holders) while building up the roster for the longterm and while knowing that not every need can be realistically filled in one offseason. They think Willis could be "the guy" but have flexibility to get someone else if he's not. 6) Get value veterans (at our near the minimum) who have flashed or have a talent that (in 4 cases in the past week) made them second day picks to begin with. They've done or embarked on a path with all of these things.

@AndrewMNaber What kind of modern quackery is this? Who diagnoses depression with a self-report questionnaire? Stick with the basics like taking a good look at their stool. So often I've found that black bile buildup can be remedied with a strong purgative. Flush out the system, man!

Most workplaces don’t have a productivity problem. They have a psychology problem. You can’t KPI your way out of low trust. You can’t micromanage your way into motivation. And you definitely can’t “pizza party” your way to engagement. People perform when they feel Safe!
