@Psych_Bags Is the news of Imdx positive and will it go up or fall?

@a1b1c67eudhhd Full impairment of Determa is a surprise. They had them in the raise deck from February

@ghill37g @ZeeContrarian1 When you think of who has glasses, do any stereotypes come to mind?

@ZeeContrarian1 Why is the company business mostly in China?
Who performs the procedure in the US.

$STAA might be the closest setup I’ve seen to $ZIM.
The stock currently trades at $17.55 after not too long ago rejecting a $30.75 buyout offer-meaning that is what real industry juggernaut think it’s worth-at cycle low.
The stock trades at cycle lows while clueless analysts covering it, just like those who covered $ZIM, focus on the current situation rather than the sum of the parts or what its main asset is worth to competitors.
Meanwhile, an industry juggernaut tried to acquire the company at a 60% premium to the current market price and was rejected by large shareholders who believe it is worth much more.
Broadwood, a major holder, has indicated there could be additional interest if a proper process is run.
This is a company with a unique asset and a real moat that someone will always want to buy.
At these levels, the stock looks like a gift.
If a deal happens at a better point in the cycle, I think $35 to $40 per share is realistic over the next couple of years.
Patience required. Timing uncertain.
But the asymmetry is
Portfolio allocation increased to 8%.

@TrentBlair19 For scuttlebutt, I'm a patient of theirs and have had nothing but good experiences with the team across multiple sites. Chains typically are akin to pressuring for fillings to boost margins, but not them. Google reviews are true to their ratings

@CCM_Brett These were posted after the sale to CSI, so at first glance I thought it was AirWis trying to "rebuild" with a potential new fleet and keep the scheme going. To @gus_finknottle's point though, it could just be CSI that opted to expand ops & maintain the WI hangers and offices

@ZeeContrarian1 Love to see the $STAA conviction! I think the worst is behind them, too, but I'm waiting one more quarter to see how the distributers are doing before sizing over double-digits. The domestic growth is great to see (pun intended 😁)

Thursday moves:
Closed $QQQ March 620(B 1) -
580 (S 3) put ratio spreads that were used as a hedge - contributed 7% to the portfolio over the past month! Replaced with $610 (B 1) – $568 (S 3) spreads for April.
Started a position in $STAA and increased it to 10% of the portfolio. I believe it will be sold within the next two years for well north of the $30 per share recently offered by $ALC, which was rejected.
New position: $BABA 5% at 125
New position: $NVDA 5% at 178
Small increase in position: $MDWD

Oh Natu you sweet summer child. I've chopped two core positions this month, so now only NLH.v and IMDX are double-digit weights. Writing's on the wall that iMDx will have to formally delay, too... Sentiment's a hellavu drug

At last the long winter is almost over... So pumped for more earnings reports this month! What will Chris do with NL2 $NLII.P.v? What will Lineage do with Tempest's gene-edited cell line? How well is EVO+ selling in the mainland? Will Kelso report another quarter in the black?
