And honestly, it also wouldn't surprise me if the park rides were entirely powered by generated off of a natural gas line in the area, so there's also a chance its not even on the same power grid.

@fangsxbangs Six Flags has backup generators. If there is a fault in the system you to evacuate the ride and restart it and go through the safety checks.
And back up generators don't keep a power supply uninterrupted, it kicks on when power goes out.

@T00tbeer @DallasTexasTV It wouldn't get stuck upside down because of a power outage. The point of the hill is to give them the momentum to get them through all the loops. The ride can only stop at safe evacuation points where there are brakes that will trigger without power.

Roller coasters have safety systems and protocols to shut rides down if someone pulls out a cell phone. Its gonna shut down power at the slightest hint of danger.
And they would have backup generators. They still have to evac the ride before restarting.

He's most successful at telling kids horror and stories from a kids point of view, but he tries to build in maturity with sex, swearing and gore and that doesn't necessarily work. He's less adept at generating meaning in his stories than others.

I'd describe kings books more like melodrama, he understands what real people are struggling with and focuses in on that. All the screwing around, drinking, all that shit.
There's also a real focus on things that spooked King like his little boy almost getting hit by an 18-wheeler.

Why in the world do people hate this guy so much?
I understand why people hate politicians because they make decisions that affect your day to day life but hating a guy who makes games is just weird lol.
I wasn't the biggest fan of TLOU Part 2's story but to go online week in and week out and spew hate about a guy who does not have any impact on your life whatsoever is very odd, just sayin...

He leaves for Seattle without ellie to keep her safe for joel. A wish his wife deliberately violates, which kinda goes against what her character would be.

He suffers at the hands of Abby and becomes obsessed just like Ellie was. The only thing he swore was to keep Joel's secret which got out without his involvement anyway.

And the time frame of his healing was longer than 24 hours. This is a fall at a height where even if she didn't hit the glass, the impact on the water would have still killed her.
