@AnthonyArtDeco2 @AKlay19 But they didnt take it out? The voice is used in the beginning of the film twice, middle, and at the end as well. With “Stu”being the killer it obviously wasn’t needed as much. Also in 6 the mask was changed to a degree and I still enjoyed it. Again, change isn’t bad.

To be fair: undertone was literally just sold on the same premise that the sound design was physically impairing - and nearly all movie theaters outside of imax and Dolby don’t have their sound set properly. Having people watch it at home or their rinky dink theater absolutely changed the experience, IMO. But whatever I don’t mind being called “wrong” once in two decades.
