@ItsYent It’s moreso that it’s disappointing being funneled into choice nodes such as “X ability does 3% more damage” or “you gain 3% more versatility”. This is not an engaging choice to make and that power should just be baseline. This being only one example.

@PsychoxDH “Illusion of choice” my guy talent systems since vanilla have been an illusion of choice everyone just looks up what the meta talents are and run that.

Genuinely having fun playing Midnight so far. My biggest complaint about the game is the same as before I quit. The talent tree changes they made in Dragonflight were a huge mistake. It gives you the illusion of choice while remaining unnecessarily complex.

@yo_jaydee After playing the game for a while I feel like they're mostly just the same in terms of the average player. But it's a little more nuanced in 14 if you're talking about things you experience in PF. Mainly being your experience will vary wildly from DC to DC.

the general skill level of FFXIV players is much worse than the general skill level of WoW players. it's so crazy

@megasett Vuln stacks would probably be more useful but this would never fly in WoW. Fwiw I think Res weakness would probably probably be a better option than both if you were trying to yoink a mechanic from 14.

@plkatv I leveled 8 Demon Hunters on stream and when I leveled my BM Hunter I kept getting asked why no more DH.

My favorite question in streams atm is why no prot war? I have already done all my m0s for the week, farmed the super rares before stream. There just isnt much content to do on your main till mythic week unless people want to watch a dirt farming stream :( Soz
