My sister told me she didn't want to be next. Creating hope we made a pact to change the care system. But she died months later at 33 and my brother at 45. My family are gone.. but despite that, I'm pleased to announce 100 councils in the UK have passed Protected Characteristics for Care Experienced People. I've got much more to announce regarding how we will demonstrate impact, give voice to care experienced people and how policy and system design will create social, economic, and fiscal costs benefits. Howe for this weekend I'd like to reflect how far we have come and dedicate this moment to every person that has come on this journey.
