In the calm before the storm, we proclaimed Pollinator Week in #ptbo today and took a cycling tour of gardens planted in 2022. Peterborough’s biodiversity grows each year with our care, nurturing and community action #PollinatorWeek #BeeCity🐝@BeeCityCanada #MonarchUltra

Celebrating Pollinator Week on the Pedals & Pollinators bike tour! @lalalalachica read @CityPtbo's proclamation as a #BeeCityCanada member. We visited @ptbolibrary's stunning pollinator garden, & #HutchisonHouseMuseum medicinal gardens, where bumblebees were buzzing with action.

Last year, we were designated a Bee City with @BeeCityCanada! Let’s continue building momentum for pollinator pathways across the city & beyond! 2/

We hope there is outrage across the province by @fordnation's proposed plan to destroy parts of the #Greenbelt in order to build 50,000 new homes completely ignores the ecological biodiversity of this space. What about the homes of the 78 species at risk that live there? 1/5
