Psalm 82:6. John 10:34. Romans 8:17. 2 Peter 1:4. C.S. Lewis called it becoming ‘little Christs.’ Eastern Orthodoxy calls it theosis. It’s ancient Christian doctrine. As for getting your own world, this is not our doctrine. It’s a theory (like the Trinity) developed from the above mentioned verses and something we do not teach or hold dear, so I will not defend it. Find someone else who believes that and wants to. @thejorgerojas @RykerJackson97 CS Lewis would in no way agree with the way you used this quote. Christians believe there’s a difference between union with God after death and independence from God as another demi god as mormons believe.

@thejorgerojas @RykerJackson97 The verses you cite don’t line up with your argument. In the Psalm/John passages, Christ is rebuking his accusers, not establishing a doctrine of literal deification. Psalm 82 ends with David pronouncing that they will die like men, which undermines your argument.
