@TheLegacyOfLeo Yes I’m actually really appreciating that- no visitors- we can just focus on looking after each other, recovering from the physical side of it and grieving #babylosshour

@PuffinsMummy In some ways, that’s the positive of covid isn’t it? The permission to just be. #BabyLossHour

What rituals or acts do people do in the days after Christmas for self care or to soften the missing? Can be an overwhelming time #BabyLossHour

We also have tree baubles for each of our babies which helps make them feel more of a part of it #babylosshour

@merrymunky @TheLegacyOfLeo Hi Emma, I've not been on for a long while but remember you from when I was on here previously- I've just had a second miscarriage last week 😢. Hope the 'meh' feeling doesn't last too long #babylosshour

@TheLegacyOfLeo Yes indeed. She snuck my husband in for the scan and into the gynae ward with me(he wouldn’t normally have been allowed in due to COVID), spoke to the sonographer, waited with us made me a cup of tea etc- little things that made big difference #babylosshour

@TheLegacyOfLeo Yes, thank you. We were in contact with bereavement midwife this time who made all the difference in making a terrible situation a bit more bearable #babylosshour

Tonight’s #BabyLossHour is about the small ways we can include our children in the festivities. Seems apt as tonight I’m lighting a doorstep gift from a friend, with the label “something to light for Leo” — it really can be simply lighting a candle ❤️

@PuffinsMummy I find the feeling of being a burden so overwhelming sometimes and I neglect myself. I have had to learn (slowly) that I have to be selfish #BabyLossHour

@HarrysHeroes1 Yes and it’s hard to put ourselves first sometimes when there are so many other demands on us and we don’t want to burden others #babylosshour

@PuffinsMummy That is such a good way of looking at it, sometimes we are so busy and caught up with everyone around us that we lose the ability to apply that to ourselves #BabyLossHour

@HarrysHeroes1 Making time for grief, not overloading and embracing being ‘selfish’ — it’s okay to say no, to listen to yourself. Learning your grief is so so crucial. #BabyLossHour
