Just to further support what Corelli is talking about, lets take a look at one of NA's previously favorite events, Astro Star Circuit. 2017 Season 1: 5 org signed pro teams, 1 unsigned but still pro 2021 Season 4: Only 1 Tier 1 org team, multiple unsigned rosters, even with a larger prizepool. Nowadays pros would kill for an event like this, but after years of not giving Astro it's deserved attention, it doesn't exist anymore. NA got too pretentious over time and only played in T1 events and RLCS, and now those are sparse and we have nothing to fill the gaps. Its definitely not entirely their faults, but NA pros absolutely share part of the blame as to why all these events disappeared.
