Dose of David Puig 😎☄️🇪🇸 The James Bond of Spain did not win this season on LIV but established himself as a top player in the league. Highlights to celebrate: - Finished 10th in LIV Standings - Five top 5's (DWPT & LIV) - Made the cut at the PGA with a back injury - Finished 5th in Strokes Gained on LIV Have a feeling he wins a DPWT or AT event before 2025 is over, but first it's time to Vamos tf up for the Team Championship

When David Puig joined LIV Golf, he was ranked well outside the top 2000 in the world. Since then he has travelled the globe to play in as many Asian Tour and DP World Tour events as possible to gain access to majors, and he has now reached a career high of 87 on the OWGR. At just 23 years old, David has quickly announced himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the sport. He’s won twice, has finished top 5 in his last 4 DP World Tour starts, and proven he has the motivation and talent to get to the very top. I think it would be really cool if Augusta National recognised his achievements, against the odds to climb the rankings, and extended him an invite to The Masters. He absolutely deserves it.

When 22 year old David Puig joined LIV, he was ranked 2819 in the OWGR. After months of travelling the world and playing in every ranking event available, he’s now up to 105. An incredible achievement. But unfortunately that’s just outside of the top 100 who qualify for the PGA Championship. His last 10 OWGR results are: T4, T14, T11, W, T15, T3, W, T10, 2, 5. In 10 different countries and across multiple continents. What David has achieved to climb the world rankings like that so early in his career is really impressive. Especially considering most of the events he plays aren’t recognised. It shows not only how much talent he has, but just how hard he’s prepared to work to somehow gain access to majors. When I saw him in Macau fresh off losing a playoff to John Catlin, the first thing he asked was “does that still get me in the PGA?” It’s been a goal of his for the entire season to qualify for the PGA Championship and he says it would be a “dream come true” to play at Valhalla. I think it would be really cool if the PGA of America recognised David’s efforts and gave him an invite. He’s one of the brightest young talents in the sport and his efforts over the last few months deserve it. @PuigCorrius @PGAChampionship
