This happened in the CoD community and it’s a clear example of how easily people can scam when there’s no accountability.
In September 2024, someone using the aliases “sshzdow” / “spydzrr” bought a Top 250 Season 4 Activision account for $400 USD, paid through PayPal Friends & Family. The payment was sent using his real name on his PayPal account.
In October, he filed a chargeback through his bank, got the $400 back, and kept the account. Shortly after, every social tied to those usernames was deleted or deactivated. The only one still active is his Instagram, where he removed me as a follower.
This isn’t a witch hunt. These are the facts, and the community deserves to know when someone does something like this.
