Why would Australia take any Afghan refugees to dump them in Fairfield (again). The Baird Government took 7000 Syrian refugees in 2015, promised to resettle them across NSW and 95% ended up in Fairfield. Do Lefties ever think of what refugee settlement really means?

Some historical context: Bob Hawke invited 42,000 Chinese students to stay after Tiananmen. Malcolm Fraser welcomed 50,000 Vietnamese after the fall of Saigon. There are 4200 Afghans on temporary visas in Australia now as Kabul falls.
