If the Lakers win the championship this year, is it time to consider LeBron James the GOAT?

Apparently if Bron loses in the first round at 41 year 23 with an injured team, despite seemingly breaking a new record every night, all of this gets erased: 4 Rings 2016 3-1 comeback 10 finals appearances including 2 insane carry jobs in 07 and 18 187 playoff wins (most by far) 41 playoff series wins (most) 8.4K playoff points (the most BY FAR) 63% playoff win percentage. One of the best playoff win %s a superstar has ever had despite Bron having played 40 more playoff games than anyone ever. (40 games, a whole half a season!) 19 playoff appearances averaging 28 9 and 7 with 3 stocks with some of the greatest defense, highlights, clutch moments and degree of difficulty wins we’ve ever seen. You sound desperate. You look desperate. You ARE desperate. Touch grass. 😂🐐👑

“Dad, how good was LeBron James?”

Nick Wright on why finals losses should not hurt LeBron GOAT case: “Nobody ever says yeah, Tom Brady would have been better if instead of making 10 Super Bowls, he only made the Super Bowls that he won. Nobody actually thinks that. Nobody thinks that Tatum and Brown with Boston, their careers would be better if they were 1-0 in the finals instead of 1-1. No, like this is the thing that’s fascinating and I’m glad LeBron finally talked about it about this specific argument is nobody actually believes it. Nobody actually thinks that Michael Jordan’s legacy would have been hurt had he defeated the Detroit Pistons a year earlier when they lost in game 7 and then gone on, you know, if they had won that game and then lost in the next round.” (Via @WhatsWrightShow)

Rings won with drafted team: Kobe : 5 Kobe: 1 Shaq: 0 Russell: 0 Dirk: 0 Kawhi: 0 Garnett: 0 Durant: 0 That is loyalty. 20 years played for 1 team. Kobe was different 🙏🏻

Nick Wright on the lack of relationship between Michael Jordan and LeBron James: “Just my speculation here. I think that Jordan became less and less comfortable with LeBron’s place in the basketball ecosystem as LeBron started getting closer and closer and closer to becoming the people’s choice for greatest player ever. I always felt one of the reasons Jordan embraced Kobe was not only did Kobe model his entire game and at times his persona after Jordan, it was very clear relatively early that Kobe was never going to, like Kobe’s ceiling in the eyes of the majority was going to be second to Jordan. And so Jordan felt comfortable putting his arms around him. There was no threatening of his stature. And it’s not lost on anyone that people had been trying to make the last dance forever. That footage had been around forever and Jordan did not okay it until two days after the 3-1 comeback against the Warriors. The story is that it was the day of the Cavs parade that Jordan finally green lit that. So I think there’s always been a little uncomfortableness, but I think it is very interesting that LeBron is saying, “I hope I made him proud.” (Via @WhatsWrightShow)
