One of the brave youth of Gaza, Ali al-Jafarawi, brother of late journalist Salah al-Jafarawi, released a song titled “Oh Eid”, filmed amid the rubble of Gaza. In the lyrics, a child asks: “Where is the happiness and security? … Oh Eid, how do you visit us while the wound in us still hurts?” The song reflects the grief and longing of Gaza’s youth as Eid arrives in the shadow of war. #GazaGenocide #PalPulse

Eid takbeerat were heard near Al-Aqsa Mosque as Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked worshippers from accessing the mosque for Eid al-Fitr prayers. IOF deployed stun grenades and dispersed gatherings as Palestinians attempted to pray at one of Islam’s holiest sites during the holiday. Al-Aqsa Mosque has now been shut for more than 20 days for the first time since Israel occupied East Jerusalem in 1967. #GazaGenocide #PalPulse

Amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, residents have opened a zoo for Eid al-Fitr in an effort to bring moments of joy to children living through the Genocide. With much of Gaza’s infrastructure destroyed and daily life dominated by displacement and hardship, families and volunteers created the space so children could briefly escape the reality around them—interacting with animals, playing, and celebrating the holiday in a rare atmosphere of relief. The initiative highlights how, even under extreme Circumstances, communities continue to find ways to support children’s emotional wellbeing and preserve a sense of normalcy during one of the most difficult periods in Gaza’s history.

Germany has said it will not intervene on behalf of Israel in the genocide case at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, according to a Foreign Ministry spokesperson. The decision marks a shift from Berlin’s position in early 2024, when Germany had indicated it would support Israel after South Africa filed the case and strongly rejected accusations of genocide related to the war in the Gaza Strip.

RT correspondent Steve Sweeney and cameraman Ali Rida were injured in an Israeli strike while filming in southern Lebanon. According to the crew, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at their position near the Al-Qasmiya Bridge, close to a local military site. Rida said they were clearly identifiable as journalists, wearing uniforms marked with press credentials, and described the strike as deliberate. Footage from Rida’s camera reportedly captures the moment of impact, showing the missile striking less than ten meters behind Sweeney as he ducks for cover. The incident adds to growing concerns about the safety of journalists covering the conflict.
