The Bengali word for "rainbow" is Ramdhonu, which means "Lord Ram’s bow." For thousands of years, Bengalis have referred to it by this name. In 2017, in West Bengal school textbooks, "Ramdhonu" was replaced by the word Rongdhonu, which means "bow of colors." This word was not a part of traditional Bengali language and Mamata govt introduced it specifically to replace "Ram"dhonu. To make matters worse, Rongdhonu comes from Bangladesh, where the Islamic government has been using it instead of Ramdhonu since they came into existence as an Islamic country. Imagine the scale of appeasement!

We will see a time when Kashmiri Pandits will be called settlers! In video you see a Kashmiri Pandit family reclaiming land that belongs to them. They had told the Muslim family not to grow anything on their land, despite that there is something that has been grown. The family that had forcefully occupied the land is defiant and does not care knowing very well that a Kashmiri Pandit family can be scared away and if needed eliminated . . . This is a stark reality, it might be uncomfortable and might not fit the narrative of good visuals but there is no remedy if there is no acknowledgement of what has been done to Kashmiri Pandits. This brings me to my question, when will Kashmiri Pandits be called settlers in Kashmir ?
