Just scrolled through 100 vids in my YouTube Recommended section, and zero videos were from channels I’m subscribed to (signed in). If you guys check 20 vids on Recommended, how many are from channels you’re subscribed to? @YouTube @TeamYouTube

@xLordOfAnime @YouTube @TeamYouTube The vast majority of users rarely use the Subscriptions tab. 0.5% of my traffic is from the Subscriptions tab. Most people only use the Recommended tab. If subscribed channels are never shown on Recommended, then subbing to a channel would basically be blocking it for most users

@Pungence @YouTube @TeamYouTube I think the whole point of the recommended tab is for users to see content that they aren’t subscribed to. It gives other creators a chance to be found. I very rarely see subbed content in the recommended tab. If I wanted to watch my subscriptions, that’s the point of the sub tab

This has also been weird. This is the first vid I’m recommended every time I log in. All other recommended vids change. It’s been this 2 second vid 10-20 times over the past few days and I’ve never clicked on it lol.
