@MarinasHammer Nobody in the state wants this let alone locals to the area, it's near the bird refuge, Utah is already in a drought and doesn't have the water supply to support a build of this size, this was pushed through without the taxpayers knowledge.

Spencer (he/him) Cox is a disgusting sellout traitor who ruined Utah and wants to further its destruction by backing a MASSIVE data center in rural Box Elder County.
Everyone needs to show up Monday May 4 at 4pm at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds to oppose this.

"We have to do this," Gov. Cox said. "We just can't say no and shut the doors and go home and let China win this technology race." @bmullahy2news kutv.com/news/local/uta…

Meanwhile they are turning off kids splash pads, we are in a water shortage, this is being built near a local bird refuge, we are in a draught and they are demanding water restrictions but sure build a data center in our back yard.

Kevin O'Leary is planning on building a massive 40,000-acre hyperscale data center in Box Elder County, Utah. The data center is estimated to eventually consume 9 GW of power a year. The entire state of Utah consumes about 4 GW of power. The data center would be off-grid, with energy generated on-site via natural gas.

They are building this in our back yard, this is not locally supported, they tried to squeeze this in last minute under the radar till locals found out about it. This is some shady backroom deal that nobody here supports and it needs more coverage!!
