I've written about love and pain for as long as I can remember. Even when I was a child in the system, being trafficked, silenced, and surviving things no child should ever have to survive, words became life to me. They were the way I poured out what I couldn't speak, the way I was able to keep breathing beneath the weight of it all. Yet I sit here by the grace of God alone. Were it not for His hand upon my life, I would not have survived the fires I've walked through. And the same grace is what delivered these words from within me onto the page. Cinder & Ivy: Poetry and Prose for the Beautifully Broken is the book that resulted from that walk. It holds the echoes of brokenness and resilience, the ache of loss, and the stubborn promise of love. I wrote it for me, yes, but more than anything, I wrote it for the survivors. @Punkness1 Yes, if they are fully furred their mother has already left them to fend for themselves as she is already pregnant again. She was a very brave little girl. She deserves a bunny!

I have a bone to pick with whoever decided bunnies were associated with Jesus. Lemme explain, story time. My daughter, playing outside today, found a baby eastern cottontail in a metal drainage hole on our property and immediately thought that God had decided she was such a good girl that he had delivered her a baby rabbit for Easter. ( you see where this is going) So eastern cottontails cannot be domesticated, even as babies. They'll die, my hunny, explaining this to our very young daughter, watched her stiffen her quivering upper lip, wipe away a stray tear or two, and let her precious " gift" back out into the wild as it hopped away to wherever. My honey, being this is his baby girl, and she is the only thing God created to melt his cold veteran heart had no choice, God won Meet Sir Toasty Mc Marshmallow Well played commercial Easter 😂

Living my beautiful gift of existence to the fullest in grateful harmony. It's 70 degrees out, not a cloud in the sky today so I'm outside prepping garden beds and pressure washing my babies pool for swimming soon. I don't ever have a ton of money to travel with my kids so I put everything into building a backyard oasis for them. Its our favorite place together in the spring and summer. I may not have money, but my God has made me rich beyond words with all he's blessed me with. I hope you guys have a fantastic day and soak up everything good this day offers you! Love & Light!

@GMXonX I did our first Friday. Pulled rib eyes out the deep freezer and had a divine little patio party. 🥰

@Punkness1 Its ok to keep for a bit but Id keep trying to explain that if my daughter really loves the bunny and wants it to survive, then she has to learn to let it go.
