I've seen that athlete died suddenly from sepsis. Two weeks ago I went from perfectly ok to on the verge of death. Started as a stomach bug. A few hours later I was in delirium, puking blood, high fever, an impending sense of doom. Rushed to hospital, put on emergency care.

@LarryMadowo @wanguthuku Sports is a political pacifier. They love it when we're bamboozled by the gladiators in the arena. It's a welcome distraction for them.

Kenyan police allowed Arsenal fans to gather and disperse peacefully but they never allow the same youth to protest against the government without killing some

I have stood against ethnic-based politics when espoused by some leaders in Mt Kenya. In equal measure, I strongly stand against the Hassan Omar type of ethnic baiting that seeks to isolate the people of Mt Kenya. The Tutam movement, to which we remain fully committed, is a national movement that does not legitimize the spewing of ethnic hatred, however couched. As a nation, we have been there before and we said never again! That approach may excite crowds, but it is short-sighted, undemocratic, and can ultimately only be severely injurious to the nation. He owes our nation an apology.

@MigunaMiguna @SuluhuSamia Token 'big brother' hubris. Also, for war hawks that enable and support genocide and aggression all over the world, they really should shut up. Only the people of Tanzania have the agency to make sure Suluhu and that Mafwele buffoon pay for their savagery.

Sanctioning a corporal who doesn’t even know how to spell “Britain”, has no visa, no foreign bank account and cannot travel to the UK is the usual colonial smoke and mirrors. The person responsible for the atrocities and who works for the UK, US and Israel is @SuluhuSamia.

@EricNjiiru Then he should simply step aside instead of getting a salary he hasn't earned. All I'd want is if he was to step aside, awache amepasua mbarika on who are those people that exert undue pressure on him.

Benni McCarthy was a top player and has coached at the top level. He definitely understands how pro football works. I refuse to believe he's in charge of these call-ups. A UCL winner cannot call unattached, unfit, or players who are not even at their best, or don't start at their clubs. People at the federation definitely tell him who to call and who not to. Summer transfer window is coming up

@alfredarapketer @roywahome9 That that System ya Farts guy is the one explaining government policy shows how down bad we are. Not that Wandayi is any better tbf

One thing that's now clear is that order in the sector is absolutely possible. But that's definitely not in their interest lol

CS Opiyo Wandayi: One of these issues was the matter of possible adulteration of diesel due to the huge disparity in the prices of diesel and kerosene. We have come to the understanding that for prudence purposes and to eliminate the risk of fuel adulteration on account of this huge disparity and to save the motor vehicles operating using diesel from possible malfunction, we are going to bridge the gap between the prices of diesel and petrol. That would mean that the price of kerosene would have to go higher as that of diesel comes lower to bridge that gap #CitizenMondayReport
