For clarification sleeping on it: I live in a mining city with about 200-300 peeps who go to events with around 50-75 I see regularly at the same event. Its probably most likely that I usually go to the drag events and that aspect is the most cliquey I'm not saying that it's the whole LGBT community here it's just that the people who are the lovely ones are very hard to reach out to or find because there's not really a good safe space. The gay club is near another club which is full of homophobic straight people where there's an assault almost every night and then theres the other spaces that are too far and getting to them involves either driving or taking a tram where Eshays are at every corner trying to assault you lol.

Is it controversial to complain that my local LGBT community is not accepting and just makes me feel like the black sheep? I know I'm a good person full of fun and adventure with lots of love and cuddles to give but why does the community not like that? I'm confused
