@Purba_Ray Ssshh! That kind of thought is banned in our society. Nowadays even puberty functions are as fancy as weddings. Apparently they can’t get married without one.

Parents spending crores on their daughter’s wedding, fancy looking invites, trousseau plays a huge role in guilt tripping women into putting up with abusive in-laws and husbands, especially when they are spending beyond their means. Wouldn’t it be better if those crores were invested in mutual funds or property — in her name. Give her the luxury of choice, instead of leaving her helpless.
