Yesterday, we visited our friends at The Pax Center in La Porte and presented them with a $4,165 donation raised from our recent Skip-a-Pay promotion. Each December & January, eligible members in good standing have the option of skipping a credit card, vehicle loan, or personal loan payment for a small administrative fee. Purdue Federal then donates a portion of that fee to a local organization. The Pax Center's mission is to keep LaPorte County, Indiana, loved well and fed well through a network of community gardens, food pantries, and community meals. They offer a food pantry three days a week, serve two hot meals a week, and maintain two different community gardens and green spaces. They are doing amazing work for the La Porte community! Last week, we joined @PNWathletics at Kube Sports Complex to cheer on @PNW_Hockey against Hope College! 🏒🦁 Their annual Mane Event is always such a fun way to connect with PNW students, staff, and fans! While we were there, we also presented a donation to PNW based on new accounts opened with a PNW debit or credit card design. We had so much fun cheering on the team who ultimately ended the night with a 2-0 win! 💛🖤
