Once again we had another wonderful Harvest Festival! Thank you to our families for the amazing donations for the local Food Bank. We are blown away by the generosity in our community.

Nora designed the Kindness Champion certificate as part of her application to become a School Ambassador. We were so impressed with her idea that we have turned it into an award for the school! We really value pupil voice and it’s lovely to be able to bring this idea to life.

A wonderful Harvest Service topped off with 252.8kg of donations for the Bridgwater Food Bank! What a generous school community we are lucky to be a part of. @TrussellUK

These children were given awards for good attendance. They all had above 97% for the year.

Tonight was the final performance for our KS2 children. They did an amazing job! We couldn’t be more proud of them!

Another successful Move Up Day completed. So many smiles in and around the school today. Everyone is now very excited for September!

We love Sports Day at Puriton! Teamwork all the way! Well done to Blackdown House for winning this year. Thank you to all of the friends and family who came to support and join us for the picnic lunch!

We’ve also had the first fruit from the trees we planted last year using the money donated from the village Christmas Window Trail. There was a lot of excitement for the cherries this morning!

We owe a huge thank you to the local people who supported the quizzes which were held at the Puriton Inn. The generous donation of £2,500 has gone a long way and will benefit all of the children at the school. We can’t wait to test them out in a few weeks time!

The boxes are empty! We have our very own set of sound and lighting equipment to support our school performances. This includes a wide range of LED lights, spotlights, speakers, wireless hand held mics, stands and 8 headset mics!

We also celebrated our KS2 readers today. Congratulations to those who reached their bronze award (50 books) and their silver award (100 books). Reading daily makes such a difference to your learning!

A year ago, this amazing woman was undergoing chemotherapy and today she completed the London Marathon in aid of Cancer Research, raising over £5,000! Mrs Attwood - you are amazing! We are lucky to have you as one of our TAs. An inspiration and role model to all!
