The Universe has a grand design beyond our comprehension.  But our decisions do matter.  A nuanced dance between power of choice and fate.  It is this philosophy, that we use, when crafting and advertising every PurpleCoin Medallion.   #harrystyles #verizon #kaicenat #PurpleCoin

@RutgersAltRoute A4 #TeacherEd Mindset-conscious assessment can significantly enhance ESL learning by creating an environment where students feel supported in their growth. I can revise my assessment practice by allowing my class to retake assessments after receiving feedback.

Framing, meaning how teachers introduce new concepts and tasks to students, is the focus for Question 3. Framing can steer students to a fixed or growth mindset, depending on whether they feel free to be a work in progress as they learn. #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset

@RutgersAltRoute A2 In My ESL classroom, I focus on a supportive classroom climate. For example, I use read aloud books like "The Little Engine That Could" or "Your Fantastic Elastic Brain," followed by discussions about the characters’ persistence.

Teachers have the power to influence the mindset of students. For Question 1, consider your own experience, readings, and what Carol Dweck refers to as the power of “yet”. #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset

When students learn to self-advocate, they become agents of their own success. Teachers play a key role by nurturing self-awareness and communication skills. For Q4, share how you’ve supported—or plan to support—this growth. #TeacherEd #SpEd

@RutgersAltRoute Q3 #TeacherEd #SpED I can do formative assessments to meet the student exactly where they are at. I can design my entire lesson plan based on the data from that assessment. I also, can create stations, which frees up my time to work directly with the students.
