There are endless free resources for 3d modeling for anatomy, free YouTube videos that break down anatomy and elements of character design, and hundreds of artists sharing their techniques and skills online. Literally there is no reason to use AI.

The reason fandom culture has become so psychotic is because they don't actually like the material itself. They love the "fandom". The aesthetics of it, the fan works, they couldn't give a shit less about the actual media.
It's why they get so violent towards the creators.
