Okay so the floor test today was genuinely interesting and not for the reasons you'd expect. Just praise for Vijay and moving on. And then Premallatha Vijayakanth of DMDK gets up and says — "Young people voted you to power. What message are you sending? If he's your Rajaguru, keep him at home. Don't bring him into the government." Nobody saw that coming. DMDK of all parties. Article 51A(h) literally says the State should promote scientific temper. Putting your astrologer on the government payroll isn't a small thing — it's constitutionally embarrassing. Thamimun Ansari raised it too, which takes guts considering how openly faith-oriented he is. Vanniarasu remembered Dabholkar and Gauri Lankesh — those names deserved to be spoken on that floor.
