Yesterday, we welcomed @liamrobinson24, @harrydoyle96, and @CllrNickSmall to @AlderHeyInnov. Together, we explored how innovation can drive better health outcomes and ensure children remain at the heart of future policy as we urge the Government and policymakers to #PutChildrenFirst.

Today the govt is introducing legislation to abolish the two-child limit. More than any other, this policy has driven kids into poverty & cut them off from opportunity. Removing it is the right thing to do – supporting future generations & giving all kids a fair start in life.

Today’s child poverty strategy marks real progress. It could lift 550,000 children out of poverty by 2030, and ending the two-child limit is a vital step for families and children’s health. CEO of @AlderHeyCharity, Fiona Ashcroft, joined @kevduala on BBC Radio Merseyside this morning, to discuss the removal of the two-child limit. "Alder Hey's got a mission to give children the best possible start in life [...], and this was the single biggest way that the government could do that". #PutChildrenFirst.
