From what I’ve seen, LSU was very involved before the commitment. Wonder if Redus will be lurking here? He’s not been afraid to get involved with elite recruits in 27 onward so maybe he checks in here too.

That last point is the key one for us next year. Having $8-10M to spend is great, but when the person spending it and making decisions isn’t able to build a synergistic, cohesive unit around a system and builds a motley crew of players, it becomes a waste.

Headed into the offseason: Competitive rosters are 10M+. Many high major schools are spending 8-10M. Majority of mid major schools are spending roughly 1–2M Most low majors are 500K-1M There are rosters well above 10M... likely even double that. But for the most part, to be competitive, you've got to spend 10M. On top of that, you have to bring the right players in. It can't be just a bunch of random guys. Just wanted to throw that out there while we're looking at portal additions & such!
