Today is the traditional Saturday when Putney Town Regatta would be held. Putney Town Regatta has a long history as an event, however, in the past few years, the regatta has not been held. The Regatta Committee are working hard to make sure that next year's regatta takes place.

If you’re reading this, I hope your Club will help support Putney Town Regatta in 2026. What we do need now are some volunteers who would be prepared to help get the regatta ready for next year and help on the day to make sure the regatta is a success.

We join with the rowing community in sadness at the news of Pauline's passing but also with thanks and celebration of her life. She was the President of Putney Town Regatta and a long-standing member of the organising committee - RIP Pauline x

Thames Rowing Club is very sorry to announce the death at the age of 83 of club president Pauline Rayner MBE, after an illness. Pauline was a member of Thames RC for over 40 years, and the club’s first female captain, chair and president. 🔴⚪️⚫️

Sad news that @PutneyTownReg is not able to go ahead in 2023. Here’s hoping it can find the support it needs to return. Rowing needs a variety of regattas to meet the needs of all rowers; traditional river regattas are an important part of our sport. @BritishRowing #rowing

The Uber Boat jetty proposed by Fulham Football Club will severely impact rowing on the Tideway if it is given the go-ahead, affecting not just the Tideway clubs but the thousands who come to race here every year. You can sign a petition against it here: chng.it/Q9Nb7YRg
