A VTuber agency acts less like a strict boss and more like a high-powered specialized business partner. Their general operations revolve around a few core pillars: ➽ Fund or heavily subsidize the creation of high-end models, custom overlays, stream transitions, and technical optimization; ➽ Coordinate massive debut campaigns, press releases, lore videos, and social media pushes to ensure a talent launches with an active audience; ➽ Managing the contract negotiations, legal paperwork, and deliverables for lucrative brand deals; ➽ Merchs and Logistics; ――――― While each agency operates differently, it is "usual" letting talents keep up to 100% of their direct streaming revenue (Superchats, Twitch Bits, channel memberships) and, in turn, the agency takes a percentage split from merchandise sales, sponsorships, and commercial licensing deals. ――――― It is impossible to tell how audition process works for every agency; each one has its own process and it is totally NDA; What I imagine as the ideal scene for an audition process would be: ➽ The introduction video process, which is the ultimate filter. ➥ The video needs to showcase your character's voice, your high-energy streaming personality, your improvisational skills, and your technical competence. ➽ If your video passes, you move to live, unscripted interviews with the agency staff. They will test your ability to handle unexpected questions, roleplay under pressure, and see how your real personality meshes with the team. ➽ Technical audits to ensure your internet and PC can handle high-tier streaming. ➽ Run mock group collaborations to test your group chemistry with existing roster members or fellow applicants. ――――― Agencies look for creators who have already demonstrated they can stick to a schedule, stream consistently for months, and maintain a positive attitude. Just being "funny and playing video games" is not enough. Agencies look for specialized skills: high-level competitive gaming, music production, live asset creation (art/rigging), roleplay concepts. Agencies look for signs of maturity. They want talents who understand NDAs, can handle internet criticism constructively, and won't get dragged into public drama. ――――― There are three agencies that I would probably choose to work as a manager or join as a talent if I had the opportunity: @welcometolucid @LuminaraLegacy @SolarStudiosHub I would consider working for others, of course. But if I had the opportunity, I wouldn't think twice before accepting the invite to work in any of these three.

vtubers will do ANYTHING but message you... 😭
