@LumberTrading Shiiiiiit, when I was in fifth grade I was mowing lawns and working with a woman on my street that did puppets shows at B-day parties. I bought Wacky Pack whsle and sold'em to all the kids. I made three bucks a show and 2 dollars a lawn. I had a saving act and Levi's on layaway.

Sent my 5th grader on a “grocery store challenge.” Sent him in with cash. Told him to buy rosemary and Dijon mustard. And then to find me in parking lot after. No phone. No oversight* *I snuck in to be sure he could find my car and was able to find him in the checkout line. You can see the moment he spots me. He passed the test! Some pretty funny commentary from him as well.

I’m not sure if there’s any better example of how our party has learned nothing than us not releasing the autopsy because we’re winning races right now. This sounds exactly the same as how we felt after the 2022 midterms and 2023 specials. We always win or do better in those.

Let me be more clear- I don’t think voters actually give a shit if the DNC puts out an autopsy or not frankly I don’t think they even really care if the DNC exists. But I do think voters care that they have a better option than what Democrats offered them in 2024 and I do think an autopsy is an important part of that in guiding how the party can change and learn from its mistakes.

Arguing that releasing an autopsy would be too divisive and show that we’re in disarray is such bullshit. Voters want to see how the party is actually learning from its mistakes and fighting to figure out the pathway forward rather than saying now is not the time as we always do
