@OhgirlNC if Brawl is competitive leaning and brawl is casual leaning. Brawl would be about as far casual you can go and Melee would be far to the competitive side but not all the way. 4 was much closer to the middle, and Ultimate took a step; back closer ot the casual side.

Calling it an Irish import is stupid, it’s been in Scotland for hundreds of years before Scotland even existed as a nation. Additionally, all Celtic languages originated on the continent, so that would include Pictish and Cumbrian as “import” languages

No it was not a highlands only language. It was spoken across the entire country (minus the Orkney and Shetland islands) until about the 13th century where it began to decline
