QCC is already ramping up to bring you the 2025 Spring Queer Arts Festival, and this one's going to be an absolute pleasure! The theme for this year's Spring Queer Arts Festival is "Pleasure in the Storm", and we're ready to help you find pleasure in even the stormiest times.

We are gifted with one of the most diverse LGBTQ+ communities in the world here in the SF Bay area, and no organization has been lifting up that community longer than the Queer Cultural Center. We've been this successful for more than 30 years thanks to your support!

This year artists from our Creating Queer Communities artists cohort brought us some Incandescent Illuminations as part of the Fall Queer Arts Festival. Who wouldn't be lit up by that smile? That's the kind of trans joy we are working hard to bring to our communities all year!

Queer arts create joy not just for queer and trans people, but for all people! Each year, QCC supports dozens of artists in creating paid, original work that lifts up our communities and brings joy to our lives. And, trust, we all need more joy in our lives right now!

In addition to phenomenal performing artists, we had some truly luminous visual artists as part of the Incandescent Illuminations Artists Showcase. These artists worked for months to create original creations that were on display throughout the venue. Which one lights you up?

Tomorrow is Transgender Day of Remembrance, so we’re reminding you that you can celebrate the amazing transgender artists of our community every single day! We are blessed to have a wealth of transgender arts and culture here in the SF Bay area.

Another part of the prismatic brilliance that is our Fall Queer Arts Festival Artists Showcase, Cristina Medrano (@lachiquis_art), aka Volcanera, is a songwriter who explores spiritual reconnection and ritual with decolonial intention. Get tickets at queerculturalcenter.org.
