نفذت الجمعية القطرية للسرطان، بالتعاون مع قطر كير، ورشة تعليم طبي مستمر بعنوان “Colon Matters: Unveiling Facts on Colorectal Cancer.” استهدفت الورشة الممرضين في دولة قطر، وتناولت محاور رئيسية حول سرطان القولون والمستقيم، شملت تطور المرض، والعلامات والأعراض، والفحص والكشف المبكر، والتواصل ضمن الفرق متعددة التخصصات، إضافة إلى الخدمات المجتمعية المتاحة للمرضى. تواصل الجمعية القطرية للسرطان وقطر كير التزامهما بتعزيز التوعية بالسرطان، ودعم التعليم الطبي المستمر ، وترسيخ جهود الكشف المبكر في دولة قطر. Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) and Qatar Care successfully conducted a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop titled “Colon Matters: Unveiling Facts on Colorectal Cancer.” The workshop targeted nurses in Qatar and covered key topics on colorectal cancer, including disease progression, signs and symptoms, screening and early detection, multidisciplinary communication, and available community services for patients. تشرفت الجمعية القطرية للسرطان بزيارة كريمة من السيد جاسم بن محمد الكواري، رئيس مجلس إدارة العامة للتكافل، والسيد فرج العمري، المدير العام ، حيث تم خلال الزيارة تقديم تبرع للجمعية، في إطار تعزيز المسؤولية المجتمعية ودعم مشاريع الجمعية. Qatar Cancer Society was honored to welcome Mr. Jassim bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, Chairman of Al Takaful General, and Mr. Faraj Al Omari, General Manager. During the visit, a generous contribution was made in support of the Society’s programs.

ضمن مجموعات دعم المتعايشات مع السرطان، كانت ورشة الرسم مساحة مليئة بالهدوء والإبداع، حيث عبّرت المشاركات عن مشاعرهن وتجاربهن من خلال الألوان واللوحات، في أجواء داعمة تعزز القوة الداخلية وتمنحهن لحظات من الراحة والتفريغ النفسي. الفن كان وسيلتنا لنحكي، نشارك، ونقوّي بعضنا البعض where participants expressed their emotions and experiences through painting. In a supportive environment, they found comfort, connection, and inner strength. Art became a way to share, heal, and uplift one another 💛

Together, we believe that the psycosocial support is an essential part of the healing journey 💛
