WOW this was a thrilling race. I know it's not the "marathon" that open water traditionalists want, but it might've been the most fun I've had watching an open water race.

@Braden_Keith Figured it would take a vote to get a rule added, so I can understand that. Just feels like we’re dancing around the doping and should definitely come out a lot stronger against it than this

@QCassidy8 A rule change like that would probably require a House of Delegates vote, and then passing appeals to the CAS (which has previously found that layering extra sanctions on top of the World Anti-Doping Code isn't allowed by signatories).

How does USA Swimming not have a rule that if you compete in the doping games you are banned/suspended? And pushing it off on WADA rules. Saying involvement/association “could” have implications. Treating it like the PGA did with the LIV tour. Why are we tip-toeing around it?
