I saw a post on this and it is so true: Men are rightfully expected by society to honor consent; however, they were wrongfully exposed to not honoring consent when they were circumcised. Think of that... I just don't think it sets a good example

@radaraioi @ProbablyBe84966 @QIntactivist FGM cuts the clitoris (analagous of cutting the entire penis in males), and they often sow the labia, an evident harm and damage. Whilst male circumcision only removes the foreskin. No harm nor damage whatsoever.

I have noticed a pattern: Circumcision advocates use the same talking points over and over again (which are easily debunked). They have no original material. This unequivocally proves that intactivists are winning! KEEP IT UP!

@QIntactivist As a man who was circumcised, I do not believe that my having been cut as an infant has any relevance with respect to my obligation to honor consent.

@QIntactivist My door is always open if you need to talk. And in reply to your tweet about making friends, I might not be very active in the advocacy community, but as my earlier comments showed, I’ll always stand in solidarity with those that speak up to do better. I hope you take care.

@intactamerica We don't inherit decisions. We inherit habits. It is time to wake up and protect peace, not protocols. Society hands us a scalpel wrapped in tradition, and we call it a choice. True consent starts with questioning the default.

Most parents don't arrive at circumcision independently. They inherit an assumption. The hospital reinforces it. Friends reinforce it. Family reinforces it. Sometimes the hardest thing isn't changing your mind. It's realizing you never made it up in the first place.
