@coach_hadac Don’t preach communication when you yourself can’t communicate/articulate the process.
English

* I am a D1 Coach*
• I personally invite you out to a visit
• You & your family attend
• I am coaching my players to try to win games
• I don’t focus on speaking to recruits until the end
• You get impatient and think the visit was a waste because you haven’t talked to me yet
• You & your family decide to leave early or right when the visit ends
• I was hoping to shake your hand and ask you questions after the visit
• You left
• I talk to another recruit instead
You miss out on a relationship building opportunity and someone takes your spot…
DONT BE THAT GUY @5StarFBRecruits 💫

I will add, parents are being watched as well. How the parent responds to coaching decisions, errors, conduct towards officials and comments made.
Coach Jennifer Turner@CAASoftballAdv
You’re not being overlooked… you’re being evaluated. Read that again. College coaches aren’t just watching highlights. They’re watching: • How you respond after an error • Your body language in the dugout • If you sprint on and off the field • How you communicate with teammates • If you follow up after camp or emails 👉 Talent gets you noticed. 👉 Habits get you recruited. Most athletes think: “I just need a better video.” But the athletes who get opportunities? They stack the small things EVERY day. Because recruiting isn’t about one moment… It’s about the full picture of who you are. Control what you can control. Always.

Checking out some @QUHawkSoftball this afternoon while killing time in Quincy. Just in time to see a go-ahead 2R HR for the Hawks!

English

@leobsbl Is it a lot, yes. Is it uncommon, no. Physically (if the player has properly trained) the body can handle it as long as it doesn’t become common practice. What takes a beating is the central nervous system. The breakdown of the cns will lead to the breakdown with the body.

This is a crazy time of year in recruiting. With the portal and high school recruiting going at the same time, it would be helpful for you to update your profile on your socials with your correct club team AND pin your schedule/roster at the top of your feed.
◡̈ Please and Thank you. 🫶

@QUHawkSoftball @TrentonLuera14 Thought I’d give you a nickname, Henzey.
English

@QUHawkSoftball @TrentonLuera14 Henzey…..
I’m more talking about football. And no…the Pioneer League DOES NOT count. #FakeD1
Best,
Drunk.
English

@DrunkestBastard @TrentonLuera14 You forgot, D2 teams beat D1 teams though.
English

@TrentonLuera14 Right? D3 is D3 and D2 is D2 but D1 is D1 and D3 can’t be D2 so D2 can’t be D1 which is why D1 can’t be D3.
Hey buddy, I didn’t know that!!
Kinda weird that D3 teams beat D2 teams though.

@conservVol @VolMomPickens It’s my understanding now that the pitch was called a strike. The video cuts off with the official’s hands in front before he made the official call and the batter appearing to throw the bat. I wrongly assumed it was called a ball. Very poor optics on the official for sure.
English

@QUHawkSoftball @VolMomPickens Batter is behind the line by a lot, and ball almost hit her. Definitely NOT a strike
English

I’m not one to argue balls and strikes - I just wish softball would get the K-box!
Vol Knight Long@BatteredVawl516
English

@VolMomPickens Well the video cuts off. No signal by the umpire and the batter getting ready to toss the bat. My apologies as the video leads one to believe it was called a ball.
English

@QUHawkSoftball It was called a strike - being my point that even the box could allow umpires to self evaluate. Especially since he missed some both ways.
English

@75silencedogood @VolMomPickens Well the video cuts off. No signal by the umpire and the batter getting ready to toss the bat. My apologies as the video leads one to believe it was a ball.
English

@mnulick78 @coachalyssarazo It’s been on that trend for years.First it was lowering the height of the zone. Now they are forcing the edges to be truly called. The river is not part of the strike zone but the past has always given that call. Now it’s being taken away. Money is the cause. Offense generates it
English

@coachalyssarazo Ok, I thought I was just seeing things. I hate being over critical and complaining about balls and strikes but pitchers are getting squeeeezed!!!!

@brianwiorasport @clarencehilljr The Cowboys have overpaid on players who went downhill after the contract was signed. ie Elliot
Pay the man before he bites the Cowboys in the ass kicking for another team.
English

@clarencehilljr Question— if we do a second round tender on Aubrey and the team that signs him doesn’t have a second round pick, what happens?
Also what if a team has multiple second round picks? Do they get to choose?
English

The Dallas Cowboys offered to make Brandon Aubrey the highest paid kicker in the NFL last September, surpassing the $6.4 million annual salary of Harrison Butker. Per source, the Cowboys did not offer Aubrey $7.5 million or even $7 million. But it was more than Butker. Per source, Aubrey’s agent Todd France countered with $10 million annual offer and shut down negotiations until getting the bus at the combine on Wednesday. The Cowboys don’t plan to up their offer and are comfortable placing the second round tender on him, which could result in a restricted free agent deal of $5.5-$5.8 million and take their chances on getting a second round pick if he signs elsewhere.
Stay tuned.
