Hi Nicko, we understand the confusion here. Refunds for Emirates‑operated flights booked through Qantas are currently available for travel up to 31 March 2026. Emirates is applying the same date range to its own bookings as well. If you'd like us to take a look at your specific booking, please DM your details.

@Qantas So Emirates flights (who are offering full refunds) booked via Qantas are only entitled to full refunds up to 31 March 2026. But Emirates booked direct flights are full refund with no date restrictions. Why is our national carrier so greedy?

There is currently no impact to Qantas operated flights, including our London to Perth service. We have multiple routing options available for our flights to and from Europe, and these are reviewed regularly against weather and security conditions.

So you buy a ticket for a long haul @Qantas flight & choose a seat. Then check in online & you get a different, crappy seat. Told at gate it’s the “Iran crisis” & people get to buy their seats. WTF? Conditions change minute to minute & they make it up as they go. #CustomerService
