@Qingyi33 @M55433Ven Thank you for replying, it’s an honor to know the meaning directly from the artist. The external forces and the self is very interesting. Freud? I also thought of an eye that watches and controls everything (life and death) symbolizing the oppressive society we live in today.

@newartanalysis @M55433Ven The child is represented by a flower bud, the middle-aged person by a flourishing plant, and the elderly by a withered flower. As for the eye, I intended it to symbolize external forces interfering with the self.

The cycle of life represented through the kid to the mid aged worker til death (roses dying) with an eye on the window (perhaps symbolizing the constant worry of death?) A crow: symbol of imminent death (seen this with Van Gogh)
