people crying that bakkes is dead and you have to play without color in freeplay... you can literally just open with anticheat off, spam freeplay and when you want to queue you just restart the game with anticheat on?

@justpourrl41917 @minecraft_86807 @Lethamyr_RL KBM players don’t have dead zones so this method in itself wouldn’t work. Also, I imagine there’s a way to “humanize” the bots to make their movement appear natural.

@minecraft_86807 @Lethamyr_RL I think an «easy » would be to track the direction input speed (joysticks) cuz bots tend to wiggle a lot and not drive in a straight line, like tracking how fast the player goes from the left side of the joystick to the right side.

Tim Connelly did great work last offseason. The difficult financial reality the Wolves faced after their most successful season in 20 years meant a crossroads with their beloved star, KAT. The financial future of the team is still slightly murky, but he landed a solid KAT replacement in Julius Randle AND a true gamer on a crazy value contract in Donte DiVincenzo. He saw that DET was improving and bet that their 1st round pick would convey…and it did. Most importantly, Tim Connelly kept the team very competitive NOW, while creating far more flexibility into the primes of his incredible young players. I should’ve never doubted him. He’s really damn good at his job.

@TopTierLivin @Allycxt Why reward people who are gonna quit right away if they feel they aren’t good enough? Why make the experience miserable for players who play a lot? I was 7 years old playing bo2, sure I would get dominated in most games, but that’s what made improvement rewarding.

@TopTierLivin @Allycxt (1/2)We were all below average at some point no? I myself am a casual player, call of duty does not have a very high skill ceiling compared to other competitive games, it does not take much practice to be competitive against average players.

hot take?: there should be no SBMM in pubs/normal lobbies, there’s “RANKED” playlists for a reason

@Qsk_rl @Allycxt Back in the day every game was only 75% full because people would leave in the first 60 seconds when they can see one team is clearly better than others. And it’s not punishing you. It’s evening the game out. I used to hate people on my team going 3-29

@TopTierLivin @Allycxt Evening the game out sounds good in practice, until you realize that every match is the same miserable shit over and over. I would rather get slammed and go negative 70% of the time, and have a few games where I really feel like i was better than my opponents.

@TopTierLivin @Allycxt Even if you are a below average player, you will still have some good games. I feel like having those good games would be a lot more rewarding than the current system. It gives people a reason to improve and to play the game.
