Nixon imposed price controls.. it made everything worse.. the economy collapsed into the worst recession in a generation.. that was a 4x jump from $3 oil.. we're now being told to prepare for a 2x jump from $100 oil.. in 1973 a $9 move per barrel broke the entire economy.. nobody on earth has a playbook for what a $100 move does.
