@JEBistline We use fuel oil here, I'm in the pink part of upstate NY. The old houses here mostly have fuel oil forced air furnaces. No gas pipes.
Some people switch to propane furnaces but the cost to switch can be expensive.

I hate to make this point, but of course it's a Stein that's a Democrat. Does any Islamic country ever recognize any month as a Christian or Jewish holiday? Separation of Church and State is a good thing. No government office should be recognizing an Islamic holiday as the month.
