Zach Cregger addresses criticisms of including modern phones & snow in his ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ film. “I took liberties to tell a story that I wanted to tell & make the movie look the way I wanted it to look… I think it looks really fucking cool to see a horror movie in the snow.”

@Quad_Machine09 I think the main thing he’s going for with it is, starting at an early point of the outbreak in a city in the universe but it doesn’t have to be directly intertwined, keeping resident evil tropes and ideas but in a more modern setting, raccoon city is just the best choice for it

@MassiveNigga The snow is not the issue, but if the movie is supposed to take place alongside re2 (which I believe it was supposed to be) then it should be taking place in 1998. There’s not much that can be changed about that
