With so much play, hole edges are taking a beating at many courses. Be careful when removing your ball, especially with the flag in, and don't use your putter or the flagstick to drag the ball out.

Like anything, irrigation systems have a lifespan and eventually need to be replaced. A new system is expensive and doesn't have much "wow factor" for golfers, but the investment will improve course conditions, water use, and operational efficiency for years to come 👇

Shaping finished. Irrigation going in. Rake and blade next week. Seeding May 29th. Our in-house crew is unbelievable!!! So thankful for them. All are little stressed and overwhelmed, but full of pride and thriving out here!! The reward is right around the corner.

Old v. new. New bunkers contain liners that reduce washouts which result in contaminated sand. Contaminated sand is difficult to maintain to a certain standard for playability. Through each passing season bunker sand quality declines. @aldarragc @GCSAA
