One brand new pair of La Sportiva Trango Tower boots worn for 10 days walking (no scrambling or climbing).
Not covered under warranty and nothing forthcoming from retailer (@CotswoldOutdoor), supplier (@lyonequipment) or manufacturer (@lasportivatwitt). Very poor service.

@CotswoldOutdoor I already returned them to the store and was told they have "no defect" after 10 days use. The manager wouldn't even speak to me about it.
