@advisors_abcz My investment thesis in both private and public markets is: focus on the tech. If they have a strong tech moat (which POET does) the money will eventually follow. Not sure if this is the right approach for public markets, but it works great in private. Just my two cents.

The things that are happening in the photonics space right now are unbelievable. The rate at which private companies are securing commercial contracts with vendors is staggering. Co packaged optics is the biggest bottleneck in datacenter interconnects. $POET seems to have the best technical solution on the market today. And at $6 / share, this company is a steal.

If you take a look at some of the names in Photonics like $AAOI $LITE $COHR, we're looking at 10x returns over the last ~12 months. This is on the heels of photonics promising to solve the data bandwidth problem inside the data center. One very narrow, albeit valuable, use case. I believe quantum companies will experience the same level of growth, if not greater, the moment we get to demonstrations in quantum advantage, even in narrow use cases. Mind you, photonics are also a quantum adjacent technology. We need better PICs and CPOs for better quantum hardware & interconnects. That's why the $SKYT $IONQ deal is even more exciting, because $IONQ is buying up an incredibly important part of the stack. The way I see it is we're never gonna see deep discounts like we're seeing today in quantum. Bookmark this tweet.

Very strong tech, especially on the sensing side of things. Very strong commercial traction in defense use cases. The public sector by far will be the #1 customer for all quantum technologies, so $INFQ is in a great position here. And Atomic architectures are the most promising when it comes to computing, however I still see $IONQ as leading the pack here in terms of scalability and unit economics. Not to say that $INFQ can't catch up.

@Sholi_software I wonder if the market pushed this name down, all because it has the word "quantum" in it.

$IONQ vs $QS fractal. My entry point in IONQ was $7. And now I’m going to repeat that journey with QS.

$INFQ $IONQ The GOAT has spoken 🔥 Infleqtion has the potential to become one of the leading quantum computing companies. Its current market capitalization does not reflect its true long-term value. Just look at IONQ: after its SPAC merger, it was heavily shorted, the stock increased tenfold within a relatively short period. Even after a significant pullback, its valuation still stands at around $10 billion, Infleqtion is currently valued at under $2 billion. From a long-term perspective, both companies have comparable potential. When you consider the gap in market capitalization, Infleqtion’s unique business profile, and its strong strategic partnerships, it appears to be only a matter of time before the stock gains broader recognition. At current levels, the entry price is highly attractive and may offer significant upside for investors who have not yet established a position. This is not financial advice.

Decided to go long on $INFQ. Infleqtion is a brand new Quantum Computing IPO that I've been watching. Quantum names like: $IONQ ($11B+) or $RGTI ($5.1B) typically command large premiums (trapped-ion/superconducting qubits). But, Infleqtion is the first public pure-play in neutral-atom quantum computing. While most others are speculative, Inflection already has use cases as their quantum sensing division + products like quantum optical clocks, RF receivers, and inertial sensors, are utilized by NASA and the US military. I've been erring on the side of caution on Quantum Computing names, as Quantum especially, is not valued based on traditional P/E, P/S. But the technology + national security risks are monumental, and foreign governments are pouring money into the space. And $INFQ seems to be head of the game. As a result, I personally decided allocate a small percentage toward Infleqtion ( $INFQ ) as exposure to quantum computing.

Jake DeWitte called me with an idea that most people thought was crazy. He wanted to build small fission nuclear power plants. For more than 40 years, the mantra “no nukes” permeated the zeitgeist, and half the people protesting were protesting nuclear war. Jake said he could build a portable nuclear power plant. That could power a small city, be placed anywhere, and even transported. My nuclear physicist friend told me the timeline: "Five years to design. Five years for approval. Five more to build" 15 years. Minimum. I invested anyway. I had faith in Jake that if anyone could get a nuclear power plant built in the US, Jake could. Jake had the energy and drive to actually pull this off. Most entrepreneurs would've given up after hearing that timeline. He doubled down. Fast forward to today: Oklo became the first nuclear power company to get US approval in 40 years. Jake took the company public via SPAC. The Aurora reactor (their flagship model) is a 1.5-megawatt beast that runs for years without refueling. Uses spent nuclear fuel. Cuts waste and environmental impact. Perfect for remote areas and small grids. Oklo today is worth more than $10 billion. Nuclear energy can reduce the carbon emissions damaging Earth. Oklo will be the company that makes it happen.

The problem with never TRULY facing the consequences of all your bad behavior is that it only makes you even more reckless, until the price of the consequences becomes catastrophic. And that’s where we’re going to be soon.
